The Happy Classroom

If you follow me on Facebook, then you know that I've been toying with the idea of re-doing my classroom. Thanks to some great FB followers, I've decided to stay with my same theme, and just change a few things up! I am going to stick with the circus theme and I will still have bold primary colors throughout, but now I'll have a new ABC wall and I'll add shape posters to my calendar area.

I am not going to change my word wall this year, but I have added this to TpT if you want a word wall to match the shape posters and ABC posters. I will still be using my popcorn word wall. :)

What is your classroom theme/color scheme? Do you change it every year?

  1. I think your classroom looks just perfect! I like the idea of keeping things the same (since they were great ideas in the first place!) and just changing up a few things to make it even better!

  2. Don't we all go through this over the summer! I'm so tempted to go out and buy new fabric and change up the theme and overall look. Hopefully I can keep a clear head like you and go with a classroom that I know works wonderfully with a few tweaks to make it even better!

  6. I love your room as it is! I completely agree it's nice to just make a few changes. It's a lot of work to change everything, especially when it already looks fantastic!

  8. Last School year I changed my theme & made it owls. I had pink & light green B.B. Every-1 loved my room. I will be using the same theme just not sure how much since my room is very tiny ;-( well see how it comes out.

  10. I've had some fishy stuff in my room for years but last year is the first year I really fully embraced a theme. I am keeping the beach theme this year but adding more bright colors to it to update it a bit. Guess we're going the same direction!

  12. I've had the same theme both years since moving down to second grade and plan to continue it next year. The original plan was just to do it for two years then find something else, but I think I've put so much time...money...heart into my classroom theme that its going to be a humongous job to change themes!

  13. I have changed each year for the past couple of years. This year I am *loving* my color scheme and so I'm already thinking of keeping it up for the following year! I love how bright and colorful your classroom looks!

  14. I teach 7th grade math so I do not really have a theme, but I love my color scheme which is pink, lime green, and blue with zebra accents.
