class promise

First off, thanks to all of you who nominated my blog as a Top 10 Blog! So nice of you!
Head on over to my sidebar and check out my favorite blogs!

Anyways, onto business...
I came across this adorable class promise here and I knew I had to do it with my class.

My class made up our own promise. We choose to include things that matter to us and our class family.

I love the one that says: To be the first to say "Hi!"

How do these kids come up with this stuff? They are so sweet!

Anyways, check out their cute, little self portraits:

My sweet friend, Amy Lemons, has a cute Class Promise Packet! Click {here} to check it out!

you have a class promise/pledge?
How did you come up with it?

  1. How cute!! WOW. You do not have a very diverse class do ya'?
    Mine is just the oppisite. It is rare that we have an unbroken family. Love the idea!! I will have to remember that for later in the month when we do our Class Constitution.

  2. I love this so much! We are doing a class mission statement later on this month... I can't wait to see what my kinders come up with. Thank you so much for sharing all of your great ideas!

  4. Our classes do either a class promise, class norms, a social contract, or a class pledge. They pretty much answer the question: How do we want to work together as a class family? How do we want to treat one another? How will we manage when there's a problem? Their agreements are then posted and each class member signs it. Some classes also use thumbprints (or portraits, like your adorable class made). Ideally it's a working document that we can refer back to and tweak all year long.

  6. Cute! I like the heads. We just made them but in my kinder class I take dictation of ...I'm special because...their reasons are so cute. I post them for open house.

  7. I LOVE the kids. We do that and paint paper plates that we put around Our School Family Commitment. Check out my blog and my latest post. It is about the Safe Keeper's Box, Heart words, and bucket filling with helpful hearts. I think you will "heart" it too! =)
