my SUPER bulletin board

I have a love/hate relationship with my hallway bulletin board...

I love decorating it.

I hate the time it takes to decorate it.

Thank goodness for Teacher Appreciation Week and the PTA at my school!

My room mom (who just happens to be my older sister) decorated this A-MAZ-ING board:

How cute is this little superhero girl? Hmmmm... I think she would go great with my sup-ER-hero unit!!!
I just might have to take her off carefully and send her through the laminater!

And just in case you are wondering, my sister created her from scratch.
Meaning... she drew her by hand and cut her out... she is freakishly talented!

Thanks Sis! You are the best!!

I am always looking for creative bulletin board ideas.
Please let me know if you post one!

What are your favorite bulletin board ideas?

  1. Freakishly talented...must run in the family!! You are a wonder woman yourself. Love it! You should have a linky party so we can showcase teacher appreciation week. I know my PTO is getting ready to decorate our doors soon.

  3. You are talented beyond belief! Love it. Ok question time - did you great the superhero alphabet letters? Too freakin' cute girl!!! I love it!

Wish I had someone to decorate my door and room. All alone and the time is ridiculous. No one understands, unless they are a teacher. I had a hall bulletin board to do (we take them monthly) and it took me over 2 hours. Sheesh!

    Great work tho! Love it!

I feel the same way about Bulletin Boards. I love looking at them I hate how long they take.

  6. @ Michelle: They actually aren't a font. I created them myself as a clipart:)

@ Mrs. M: Any ideas! I love getting inspiration!

@ Allison: Sure I'd love that!

  11. Hi Lindsey!

We just love this door your sister designed and featured it at our blog, Bulletin Board Ideas, as part of our teacher appreciation showcase!

Here's a link to the full feature:

We were sure to give idea/photo credit, as well as a link back to your blog, but we'd love for you to take a look at it! If there are any problems, we'll be certain to take it down immediately :)

    Thanks so much!
