classroom valentine sacks

We are getting ready for Valentine's Day in my classroom! We are going to make our cute valentine bags tomorrow. I got this fun idea online last year while I was student teaching. Unfortunately, I have searched the internet everywhere and I can't find the website {it had the template}. I will see if the original web address is on the template page {when I go to school tomorrow} and if it isn't then, I will upload them to this blog.

Anyways, these bags turn out so cute and the students have a lot of fun with them. They are also pretty sturdy, so they won't fall apart when your students take them home full of valentines.

I got the bags at the dollar store and I had a mother volunteer cut out a spot for the heart's mouth. Easy!

Everything is all ready to go (I love being prepared, because I hardly ever am)!

I am giving them scrap paper so they can add their own little finishing touches.
I can't wait to see how they all turn out!

I'll post pictures of their valentine bags and the website {hopefully} tomorrow!

Yes I'm LDS we were married in the Seattle temple. :) I'm also a new teacher like you this is my second year of teaching. I have loved looking at your blog and added it to my list.
